Tagum City Youth participates in Inter-School Hip Hop Competition
There is no shortage of talent at the P&G and NCCC Supermarket Inter-School Hip Hop Dance Contest held last March 3 at the activity center of NCCC Mall Tagum.
Six competing teams who came from five schools in Tagum City battled their hearts out at the dance floor for a chance to win P5,000.00 worth of cash and NCCC Gift Card.
Project Head, Irvanlie Bernales was happy about the event turn-out. “Part of our goals at NCCC Supermarket is to provide significant platforms where the youth can actively participate on,” she said.
St. Mary's College of Tagum took home the top prize with their enigmatic performance coupled with strong hip hop moves from the 90s and of today. Tagum City National High School, represented by two groups in the competition, bagged the award for the school with highest number of supporters present at the event.
Other schools who joined the competition were Canocotan National High School, La Filipina National High School and Jose Tuason Jr. Memorial National High School.
